About
Rosa is a British born Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer living with her partner and children in the vibrant artistic coastal town of St Leonards-on-Sea.
She began making art at a young age and although she may have been small she had big ideas, well, some were admittedly tiny like the books she made for her teddies, especially for her beloved Panda who was an avid reader. As Rosa grew, so have the books she makes, her playful Illustrations with characters full of warmth and humour sit alongside friendly colour palettes that draw you into their wonder-filled worlds.
Rosa is particularly drawn to books exploring themes of child empowerment, navigating big feelings, mindfulness and the joy that kids find in everyday routines. She is now proudly represented by Becky at The Plum Agency for children’s book projects.
Rosa has also had the privilege of working for many nursery retailers across the world creating imaginative and commercial surface pattern and toy designs. She loves the whole design process and can work on a project in its entirety or help with individual elements including research / trends / concept generation / character design / textile design / design development / specification documents for manufacture.
